Valentin Christopher Lustra

Director, Script Writer, Producer and Editor, Valentin Christopher Lustra was born on March 13, 1969. He is the middle of three children of a housewife mother, Venante Saint Tard from Lagonave, and a Nazareen minister father, Joel Lustra. After graduating from high school, Valentin enrolled at IRSDT (Institut Superieur de Recherches Technoliques)  intent on a career in Electronic Engineer. However, while appearing in some student drama productions and, upon some drama activities at his church, he caught the acting bug. Pursuing his acting career he enrolled at the “Theatre National” in Haiti in 1990, studying the art of the scene with Ricardo Lefevre, Gerard Rezil, Guy Beauduire, Serge Francois, Daniel Marcelin, Franck Etienne etc…. He left Theatre National after two years  to seek work as a journalist and comedian where he was hired at Television National d’ Haiti as a journalist and a reporter. His first paid acting role was in play at Theatre National in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Poukisa-l Fe Jou. he had no difficulty finding work in numerous radio Stations such as Radio Lumiere, Radio Celeste FM, Radio Cacique FM. Later, he decided to reside in United States of America where He produced his first big screen Crime D’amour (2001). He worked in both movies and television while pursuing his education in film making at Palm Beach Film School and Palm Beach State College. He worked in some big productions across the country. In 2004 Valentin wrote and the directed his second feature film Laura1, starring Onipe Auguste, Edson Cazeau, Jean Robert St Thelus and Elizabeth Puviouse, the film was nominated at, the Haitian Film Festival in Canada, then in 2007 he wrote and directed Laura2 then  La Vie de Job (2009) and in 2010 he produced Les Aventures de Jessica  by Idalgo ulysse and in 2011 he wrote and directed another feature film, Ana. In 2016 Valentin wrote and  directed L’ange Gardien and Joseph Le Pariache, This movie, Joseph Le patriache is based on a bible story. He produced a soap Opera called Obsédés in  late 2020, then August 2021 another Soap Opera Les Aventures de Sarah…
